Rohm and Haas has been granted a patent for a method of creating a non-yellowing matte texture finish coating on a substrate. A curing powder coating, contains a glycidyl methacrylate resin, a dicarboxylic acid cross-linking agent, an isopropyl imidazole bisphenol-A epoxy resin adduct as a catalyst, and a matte texturizing agent. The composition is applied to a surface and is cured.
